My journey so far

With a career in accounting spanning several decades, I began my journey in a manufacturing environment where traditional bookkeeping methods were the foundation of daily operations. From manually recording bank transactions to reconciling accounts using handwritten ledgers, I developed a strong appreciation for accuracy, discipline, and attention to detail.

 

At the beginning of my journey, I managed a high-volume purchase ledger, processing hundreds of invoices manually—a time-consuming task that could take weeks to complete. While these experiences built a deep understanding of core accounting principles and the importance of robust financial processes, I'm very pleased technology has developed and many accounting processes can now be automated.

 

As the profession has evolved, I have embraced the shift to digital accounting with enthusiasm.

 

I have a genuine passion for accounting software and enjoy exploring innovative ways to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort. From automated invoice processing to real-time financial tracking, I value the transformative impact technology has had on the industry.
